Russian athletes were at the stadium in Pyeongchang under the Olympic flag during the parade of athletes at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Olympic Games.
At the Games in Pyeongchang, the Russians participated in the status of "Olympic athletes from Russia", on Sunday the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) decided not to allow Russians to participate in the closing ceremony under the national flag due to two violations of anti-doping rules by domestic athletes during the Olympic Games.
Russian athletes in Pyeongchang won 17 medals (2 gold, 6 silver, 9 bronze).
