His rise to the top is nothing short of a plot for an awe-inspiring feature film. His struggle with growth hormone disorder which eventually led him to the Catalan capital saw him progress through the ranks of the fabled La Masia and in the end, he has grown into one of the greatest if not, the greatest of all time. With five Ballon d’Or awards to his name already and several good years ahead of him, Messi could set the bar so high that no player will ever be able to touch it.
