Gary Cahill "shocked" at Early Ryan Mason Retirement

After hearing about the news on the early retirement of Ryan Mason, Gary Cahill wished him good luck in the future. Mason suffered a severe fractured skull injury after an aerial duel with Cahill, when Hull played with Chelsea in January of yesteryear. The midfielder made a surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation all the year, with the hope to turn back in the field.

The club confirmed on 13th February, that unfortunately Mason would not return back, but retire from football ate the age of 26.
Mason sought counsel from world renowned neurologists and neurosurgeons. They all advised him not try to play on competitive football, because it would be very dangerous for him.

Gary Cahill expressed his deep remorse on Twitter.

After the yesterday match of Tottenham against Juventus, Mauricio Pochettino has said that the doors are open for bringing Mason to Spurs, of course for a non competitive role.
