Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees!!
Can we talk about this? Cause I need a second to process.
Although, I can't say I'm really surprised. Why wouldn't he go to the Yanks? Look at their offense now, Judge, Sanchez and now Stanton who combined to hit 144 dingers last year.
Without him they made it to the ALCS, and obviously one guy won't make or break this team. But could 2018 be the Yanks first title since '09?
The details of the trade aren't quite clear yet. We know that the Yanks will be giving up Starlin Castro and some prospects, and I'm really curious what the Marlins are going to get out of this trade, but let's talk about this.
Who in the AL can rival the kind of raw offensive power that the Yankees are bringing into the 2018 season? If anything what would be their downfall? How the hell does this play out? I'm genuinely curious what the people think here, let's get a conversation going!
