Coutinho – 2 Years Loan Move to Chelsea? – My Take on This
According to the latest reports and rumours flying around, it is said that Chelsea are planning or have open talks with Barca to secure a 2-year loan move for the ex-premier league/Liverpool player who joined Barcelona for a record fee few seasons ago, before moving to Bayern Munich on a 2-year loan deal and according to these latest reports and rumours, this is something Chelsea are planning on doing as well, to secure the player on a 2-year loan deal. Whether these reports or rumours are true, is still yet to be clear, however, let’s see what happens in the coming days or weeks as things begin to get clearer.
It is no surprise that when there is a pause in footballing activities especially in the world of club football actions, a lot of speculations, transfer talks and rumours will be flying around to keep the whole atmosphere lively. However, as they say, in every rumour or transfer talks and speculations, there is always an atom of truth in it… That is why I am not ruling out the possibility of this Coutinho talks completely out.
For me, if this is true and Chelsea are actually making plans to bring Coutinho to the bridge on a 2-year loan for next season, then I’m all for it, and I’m pretty sure a lot of the Chelsea fan will definitely buy into the idea of seeing Coutinho, a player that once tormented the premier league with his amazing qualities, play in a Chelsea shirt. This will most likely be a great move for Chelsea if this deal eventually happens and Coutinho gets to play with other quality players at Chelsea. Without a doubt, Coutinho knows his onion when it comes to playing football and his ability to accurately strike the ball from distance is something a lot of Chelsea fans are really missing in the team since the days of Lampard as a player. With Coutinho added to the team, they will have many options to cause teams problems, especially the low block and highly defensive teams who just pack the bus to wait for an opportunity or counter-attack to capitalize on. They will have a player that can hit the ball accurately from distance and not hitting for hitting sake, but a player who has proven to score goals from long-range strikes. Do you think Coutinho will be a great addition to this current Chelsea team?
