Conor McGregor on the ref incident

Just over a year ago McGregor made history by becoming the first dual weight UFC champion, holding two belts at two weights at the same time, when he stopped Alvarez in a brilliant display.
Since then the Irishman was on hiatus as he had his first child and then fought Floyd Mayweather in one of boxing's biggest events of the year. Now people are awaiting his return to MMA but they weren't expecting it on Friday.

He was at Bellator 187 to see his teammate and friend Charlie Ward compete in Dublin. When Ward was victorious the UFC champ rushed into the ring to congratulate him when he was met by the ref who McGregor shoved.
