West Ham star Arthur Masuaku banned for six games for spitting at Wigan’s Nick Powell

The West Ham defender was sent off during the Hammers' shock 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Wigan on Saturday.

Masuaku was ordered in for training and then hauled in to see the manager to ram home the full impact of his crime.The club will not contest the FA charge against the left-back.Masuaku apologised for the second-half incident by tweeting: “I want to say sorry for my actions yesterday — I let down my team-mates, the manager, coaches, board and the fans.
