Fight for the World Cup !
Eight European national teams will fight to qualify for four additional places in the World Cup in qualifying games.
Croatia - Greece
The Croats are favorites in the match against Greeks. So far, they have played four times in additional qualifications for the European or World Championships and have always progressed. From independence, they participated in nine of the eleven tournaments in major competations. After a poor finish in the qualifications, coach Ante Čačić was replaced and Zlatko Dalić took his job. He made his first task with excellence, with the victory in Ukraine, Croatia won the second place. The Croats are undefeated in the last eleven matches on their home ground, eight of which have been won.
"The Greeks will definitely play defensive tactics and try to keep the net intact, but we have a lot of great players and great team. Everything will depend on us. Victory would have been enormous before the second match," said football star Ivan Perisic, who plays for Inter Milan.
Northern Ireland - Switzerland
The Northern Irish last played at the World Cup in 1986. Ticket to Russia would mean that they would play for the second time in a major tournament.
Switzerland is a great team and is a favorite in this fight. They were undefeated until the last game in the group, were they lost against Portugal.
Sweden - Italy
Four-time world champions Italians are favorites in this game. Only once in history was Italy without World Cup in 1958. Coach Giampiero Ventura says he does not even think that Italy would not go to the World Cup. "Italy has never let us down, and we will not, too," was emotional Ventura.
Sweden did nit lose last seven matches, they got six, so the Italians will need to play great football, if they want to defeat Sweden National Team.
Denmark - Ireland
Denmark last played the World Cup in 2010.
The Irish played in the last two European Championships, but they did not participate in the World Cup since 2002.
