Lukaku Vs Costa (The Battle Continues)

It is not long again before we enter the new summer transfer window, and there have been series of speculations roaming all around Europe. Most teams had already gotten their desired players even if the transfer window is yet to be opened. In the EPL, there have been many talks linking different top players to the top teams in England, one out of the major rumors in England is the current linking of star striker Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea for whopping fee of £100m, which to me it's very high and Lukaku isn't worth the value.

No doubt, Romelu is a good striker and has shown that for over four seasons in the EPL. It is only a world class striker that scores 20 goals or more in the EPL, of which he has done that for more that one season in the EPL.

This stats also applied to Diego Costa who has scored 20 or more goals in two of the three seasons he has spent in the EPL. Costa is also a world class striker, but his behavior towards Antonio Conte has earned him an automatic dislike from the manger, of which he could be leaving the team very soon. After 52 goals in 83 matches, two EPL titles, one EFL Cup and a lot of paramount minutes, it appears that Diego Costa's opportunity at Chelsea has arrived at an end. The Brazilian-born Spaniard has uncovered that Antonio Conte, Chelsea's Italian administrator, sent him an instant message to reveal to him that his time with the English champions was up.

The transfer rumors of Diego and Romelu has developed thorough debate within Chelsea fans on who is better between the two strikers. To me I think if a striker could succeed playing with average players like Mirallas and Barkley, then such striker can do more playing with world stars like Hazard, Fabregas etc.

Finally, Lukaku has completely developed in the EPL and he is prepared to make the following stride and lead the Chelsea attack six years after he was acquired as a youngster. After spending two seasons on loan to West Brom and Everton and scoring a sum of 33 league goals in 66 games for both teams, Everton forked out a club record £28m to have him on their books, and he appropriately delivered, as he turned into the Toffees best scorer in the Premier League history, and twice broke the record for goals scored by an Everton player in a Premier League season.
