Introduction
To start my post, How grateful am I to discover this platform. The name it self (Sportstalk) is very exciting and able to share contents about sports all over the world. I'm not that expert enough but, sharing contents with other sources with analysis would be justifiable and fair. Without further ado, let's begin.
According to source, Russell Westbrook an NBA superstar from Oklahoma City Thunders signed off on general manager Sam Presti. Westbrook comes up with the decision after Thunder sent his former teammate Paul George to Los Angeles Clippers for five future first-round picks including Danilo Gallinarri and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
For your information, Russell Westbrook spent his entire 11 year career in Oklahoma City. Let me show you his current stats:

According to ESPN, Pat Riley the team president, moved to the front of the line because Westbrook approves a deal to Miami. In addition, Heat used four-way deal to pull-off a sign-and-trade for Jimmy Butler.
FYI, Sign-and-trade agreement is a type of contract allowed by the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) wherein one franchise/team signs an unrestricted free agent player to a new contract, only to then immediately trade him to another team(of the player's choosing). This is typically done to enable the player to obtain a higher salary and/or greater number of years on their contract than NBA salary cap rules ordinarily allow the destination team, itslef, to provide the player. Finally, my thoughts on this:
Since I have been a fan of Westbrook in his entire career as an athletic and flexible player. I would love to see him not on particularly Heat but in a team that he loves to join with. I know negotiations will happen through-out and we should respect his decisions and entirely NBA. I know this coming season will be an exciting season cause there are many changes in each team.
