since i am a new player myself i think having a guild which doesn't force to contribute help a player develop in the game more quicker. since he could save up for cards or packs and eventually earn more to pay back for the trust.

but overall your project is definetly a revolution for new players if u ask me.
How about earnable beta packs? Beta packs cost around $2 so dropping 1 or 2 to new players is still naot incentive enough for players to create too many bot accounts yet still gives players a chance against beta users. Or Steemmonsters could delegate some cards for a week or something.
