SPLINTERLANDS UPDATE: Untamed pack highlights

A gold common, a rare summoner, and an epic card!

I wasn't entirely sure if this counted as a highlight, but then I decided epic cards are still noteworthy enough to include. They're still pretty rare and generally worth a decent amount.

A rare summoner and another gold common card! I didn't get much use out of this summoner when I first started playing again, but that's because I started off with a pretty low rating. When cards are low enough in level, there aren't many shields on most of them, so a debuff which takes two shields away doesn't do a whole heck of a lot of good. Now that I'm going up in leagues a little, I've had pretty good luck with it, especially with certain rulesets. It's sort of nice to have an "armored up" ruleset for yourself but be able to negate that (more or less, depending) for your opponent.

Epic!

Now we're talking! I was getting a little worried at this point that I might not see any legendary cards, even with a potion active. Truth be told, I'm still really hoping for a goldfoil legendary card, as I probably should've gotten at least one by now considering the number of packs I've opened. I have some Chain Golems now, but those didn't come in packs. They just burn like they did.

Double take! It's the same card, in the same position, with the same card to the left of it. I assure you it's a different pack, however, and it's an additional legendary card. I managed to get this one to level 3 now, which is usually when legendary cards get to be almost as good as a max level one. They're useable at that level, anyway.

Mike Patton kinda looks like Billie Eilish in the weird colorful get-up he's wearing in this video. :P

Hell to the motherf****** yeah! There's only one common card up in this pack! And two summoners! and an Epic card! Woot!

Every once in a while, the opening doesn't work out right on the Splinterlands site. Luckily, Peakmonsters is a great place to figure out what you got in your packs, as well as all sorts of other things. Look at that, though... a goldfoil epic card! I've gotten two of those now, too, so that one went up a level.

Overall, I would say that's not too bad. I'm still waiting for a goldfoil legendary card, but I'll get one someday, I suppose.
