Tournament success and end of season rewards
What an end to the season! Battled in a tournament and collected my end of season rewards.
I took part in a novice tournament not really expecting to get far as I don't have a lot of cards. My main goal was to make it to the 4th round and earn 100 DEC. To my surprise I slowly racked up win after win and found myself in round 4 without even 1 loss to my name.
Thankfully I had some time to play as even if I played my games quickly I still had to wait for the other games in that round to finish so we could move on to the next round. After racking up ten wins I realized I had made it to the top eight, on checking the conditions I found I was guaranteed 750 DEC. Unfortunately the next 2 games I lost to @brumgunter.

During the tournament the season ended and I collected my rewards after being knocked out of the tournament. I had climbed to silver II this season and was up for fifteen rewards cards.
I revealed my cards and found I had won 1 Epic, 4 Rare's and 10 Common's. Not bad considering for most the season I was only getting one card a day.
With only having level 1 summoners it is easy to see that you can still have fun playing and be competitive with only purchasing a starter pack ( which costs only USD$10). So if your interested in playing a card game and collecting cards, why not try out @Splinterlands.
