Trying Hard Drawing#3 Fresh Golem
I am selecting a prospect Splinterlands monster to draw for the weekly submission of the Splinterlands Illustration Contest. I consider this an opportunity for me to learn how to draw as well as how to improve my coloring ability. The monster that I have selected for today is Flesh Golem as I felt interested in a zombified creature which I can see clearly that he is one of them.
As per Splinterlands Lore, it has the power of incredible regeneration which makes him one of the good frontline monsters, helps defend its allies the best as he can while continue to heal its own life bar. He can even survive in many battles even if he is the one healing himself. But it can be effective if he can receive back up healing from the allied monster to make him a more indestructible monster.
At the preliminary level, Fresh Golem does not have registration ability in which you need to level him up to Level 3 to have at least Healing ability while improving its health from 9 to 10. But if you have enough cards or money, you can invest him to have it at Level 3 to make sure that he is really a pain to your opponent as it gains Void ability that makes him more threat to magic type monsters.
I made some coloring on Flesh Golem a bit lighter in order for him to have emphasized skin and its markings are clearly seen also.
Process of my Drawing
At first, I draw its head as it centers the attraction of the monster. Make some lines also in order to know where to put its eye which basically applies to most of my drawings.
After that, I finish the head with its eyes and some of the details inside it.
I then draw its shoulder and its left hand.
Working on the other side also which completes the formation of its body.
After finishing the entire body, we then put those details inside it wherein it looks now more enhanced.
We then finish the initial sketch of our drawing after we are done with the lower part of its body.
We then do the tracing of the pencil markings and have it replaced with a pen so that the linings would be much thicker.
Started the coloring also on its flesh part.
We then now colored its clothing which is a combination of gold and brown. We color gray color for its chain.
We then now colored the lower part clothing of Flesh Golem and color its nails also.
We have now done coloring the entire body and done with our Flesh Golem drawing.
About the card
This monster card is really effective when it comes to sustainability against our enemy frontlines and magic attack monsters. It's healing ability keeps him alive most time and its survival is really high comparing to those who don't have healing ability. I consider this monster as a top-notch and effective melee with a good health bar also.
