Is Splinterlands a good investment?
My first 15 days.
Hello friends,
15 days have passed since my first login on Splinterlands.
In these 15 days: I fought many battles, I received my first seasonal reward (12 cards) and I completed all the daily missions.
For each completed daily mission I received a card as a reward.
Every fortnight I will publish a post where I will analyze Splinterlands not as a game, but as an investment.
Costs vs Rewards
Initial cost
The only initial cost I incurred to play Splinterlands was the purchase of a set of 30 cards (Starter Set) which cost $ 10.00 (71.43 STEEM).
My Rewards in 15 days of play.
The rewards that can be earned by playing at Splinterlands are of two types:
DEC and Cards
CARDS
In 15 days of play I got a total of 27 cards:
- 12 cards - End of season reward
- 15 cards - Rewards of daily missions
How much are my cards worth?
As you can see from the picture above, the value of my cards on the market is about $ 1.35
To calculate the dollar value of my cards, I used the Peakmonsters website, which makes the calculation much quicker and easier.

DEC
DEC are the tokens you will earn as a reward for each battle won.
You can also get DEC by converting the cards.
Note: Remember that you can sell and convert all cards except the initial 30 cards.
For example, if I decide to convert the "Creeping OOze" card I will get 15 DEC (Next photo)
What is the value in Dec of my cards?
Also in this case, for the calculation I used the "My collection" section of Peakmonsters
As you can see from the screenshot the DEC value of my cards is 1290 DEC.
How many DEC have I gained from battles?
DEC obtained from battles: 356
Now, we have all the data we need and can do the calculations we need ...
What is the ROI of my first 15 days on Splinterlands?
In 15 days I earned a total of 1646 DEC.
DEC can be sold and purchased on Steem Engine.
The moment I write this post the STEEM value of a DEC is 0.0056 STEEM.
As you can see from the screenshot above if I sell all DEC I get 9 STEEM (about)
The initial cost was around 71.
Consequently here is the ROI (Return on Investment):
Playing Splinterlands I recovered 12.90% of the initial cost in 15 days.
According to my forecast, in four months I will have recovered 100% of the registration fee and then all will be gains.
What if I sell the cards instead of converting them to DEC?
ROI increases.
With the current DEC price it is worthwhile to sell the cards on the market instead of converting them to DEC.

My advice is to try to sell the cards first on the market.
If you don't find buyers then you can opt for conversion to DEC.
Not registered with Splinterlands yet?
Splinterlands is a beautiful game but it is above all a great investment (my personal opinion).
Obviously I don't have the crystal ball but I think it's a game / investment that can still grow a lot.
It is the game that has the greatest potential on Steem's blockchain.

sono passati 15 giorni dal mio primo login su Splinterlands.
In questi 15 giorni: ho combattuto molte battaglie, ho ricevuto la mia prima ricompensa stagionale (12 carte) e ho completato quasi tutte le missioni giornaliere.
Per ogni missione giornaliera completata ho ricevuto una carta come ricompensa.
Ogni quindici giorni pubblicherò un post per tenere traccia dell'andamento di Splinterlands dal punto di vista non del gioco ma dell'investimento.

Costo iniziale
L'unico costo iniziale che ho sostenuto per poter giocare a Splinterlands è stato l'acquisto di un set di 30 carte (Starter Set) il cui costo è di 10,00 $ (71,43 STEEM).
Le mie Rewards in 15 giorni di gioco.
Le rewards che si ottengono giocando a Splinterlands sono di due tipi:
DEC E CARTE
CARTE
In 15 giorni di gioco ho ottenuto un totale di 27 carte:
- 12 carte - Ricompensa di fine stagione
- 15 carte - Ricompense delle missioni giornaliere
Quanto valgono le mie carte?
Come puoi vedere dalla foto in alto, il valore delle mie carte sul mercato è di circa 1,35 $
Per calcolare il valore in dollari delle mie carte ho utilizzato il sito Peakmonsters che facilita e velocizza di molto il calcolo.

DEC: Dark Energy Crystal
I DEC sono i token che guadagnerai come ricompensa per ogni battaglia vinta.
Inoltre puoi ottenere DEC convertendo le carte.
Ricorda che puoi vendere e convertire tutte le carte tranne le 30 carte iniziali.
Ad esempio se decido di convertire la carta "Creeping OOze" otterrò 15 DEC (Foto seguente)
Qual'è il valore in Dec delle mie carte?
Anche in questo caso per il calcolo ho utilizzato la sezione "My collection" di Peakmonsters
Come puoi vedere dallo screenshot il valore in DEC delle mie carte è 1290 DEC.
Quanti DEC ho guadagnato dalle battaglie?
DEC ottenuti dalle battaglie: 356
Adesso, abbiamo tutti i dati che ci servono e possiamo tirare le somme...
Qual'è il ROI dei miei primi 15 giorni su Splinterlands?
In 15 giorni ho guadagnato un totale di 1646 DEC.
I DEC possono essere venduti e acquistati su Steem Engine.
Nel momento in cui scrivo questo post il valore in STEEM di un DEC è di 0,0056 STEEM.
Come puoi vedere dallo screenshot in alto se vendo tutti i DEC ottengo 9 STEEM (circa)
Il costo iniziale è stato di circa 71.
Di conseguenza ecco il ROI (Return on Investment):
Giocando a Splinterlands ho recuperato in 15 giorni il 12,90 % del costo iniziale.
Secondo la mia previsione, in quattro mesi avrò recuperato il 100% del costo d'iscrizione e poi saranno tutti guadagni.
E se vendo le carte invece di convertirle in DEC?
Il ROI aumenta.
Con il prezzo attuale dei DEC conviene vendere le carte sul mercato invece di convertirle in DEC.
Infatti il ROI risultante è:
Il mio consiglio è di cercare di vendere le carte che non ti servono prima sul mercato.
Se non trovi acquirenti allora puoi optare per la conversione in DEC.
Non sei ancora registrato a Splinterlands?
Splinterlands è un bellissimo gioco ma è soprattutto un ottimo investimento (mio personale parere).
Ovviamente non ho la sfera di cristallo ma secondo me è un gioco/investimento che può crescere ancora molto.
E' il gioco che ha il maggiore potenziale sulla blockchain di Steem e non solo...

Ha detto bene il caro @mad-runner le partite sono veloci, io ci gioco circa 15-20 minuti al giorno...
Il gioco è bello ma ovviamente ti deve piacere come genere...
mentre come investimento/gioco penso sia il top attualmente...

Tra l'altro dovrebbero esserci delle novità se non erro.
Il loro ultimo kickstarter inoltre ha fatto dei gran bei numeri.
Per quest'anno penso di fare una pausa con i giochi.
Drugwars e Nextcolony li ho trovati interessanti... e hanno reso anche in termini di STEEM.

Mi ha preso una scimmia con questo gioco che non ti dico, carissimo @steemitri, mi sono iscritto ed ho investito i 10 dollari per l'acquisto delle carte iniziali, sto giocando abbastanza e le partite sono veloci, il caro @libertycrypto27 è nettamente più bravo di me ma è molto gentile e mi ha dato ottimi consigli, il mio parere è decisamente positivo, io avrò un ritmo più lento, magari mi ci vorranno 9-10 per recuperare tutto l'investimento ma mi diverto pure, buon fine settimana caro manichino!!!

No non si può ancora giocare da telefono e quindi se non stai quasi mai al pc meglio che non ti iscrivi.
Se ti iscrivi ti conviene completare tutte le missioni giornaliere che ti impegnano per circa 15-20 min. al giorno in media e che ti danno una carta gratis al giorno e nel frattempo che fai le battaglie guadagni i DEC.
Se giochi solo pochi giorni al mese rientrerai della spesa iniziale in molto più tempo e a quel punto non so se ti conviene...

You're right, I think Splinterlands Aka Steemmonsters has the highest ROI.
Fitting cards is another good way to get high ROI ... or it's a good way to use expensive cards without buying them.
