Day 7 WSOP $10k Main Event

The World Series of Poker main event is down to the last 2 tables of players. The 2018 field of 7874 players is the second largest number of players to pony up the $10,000 entry fee and take a shot at the title. ESPN has been providing nightly coverage of the tournament with the classic banter of Norm and Chad. They have added Maria Ho for expert commentary this year.

ESPN has also got an agreement with pokergo.com subscription service to allow them a share of broadcasting the tourney. The younger and snakier duel of Ali Nejad and Nick Schulman are somewhat different commentators of the game. These guys are a riot with topics going all over the place. Schulman also provides some good poker expert analysis. They also get expert guests that drop in and add to the analysis.

As for the remainder of the tournament. They will play down to 9 players to conclude day 7 action. The final table continues days 8-10. Saturday, July 14 is day 10. The final 3 remaining players will battle it out for the title, bracelet and $8,800,000 1st place prize money.
