Fake Spirituality...

Steemians, there are many so called 'gurus' who are shouting from the mountain tops about 'spirituality' and how to achieve it.
Spirituality is not a script phenomenon and also is not something you do then its done. It is a continued state of awareness.
This is what spirituality is NOT:-
A quick fix.
A way to escape current situations.
A way to absolve oneself of accountability and responsibility (self and others).
Metaphorically a way of washing oneself off. Life and growth go together taking a course does not make one spiritual.
Taking ayuasca or substances does not make one spiritual (it can be a spiritual experience but only if the initiate is sufficiently developed).
It is not a mental experience. It is a whole body-mind-soul experience (depending on the development of the initiate).
It is not a concept - it is an alchemical transformation of self through time and space.
It cannot be done for you.
It cannot be copied/duplicated person to person.
It is not about what you know rather it is about ontology (beingness).
Without the motivation to truly look inside and work through misconceptions, illusions (self and other), trauma (physical, emotional and psychological) and understand the different ego states spirituality is a concept.
True spirituality can not be just a concept if internal evolution is embraced and accepted. Then spirituality is truly lived.
Be careful of the 'spiritual' guru who hoodwinks for person gain.
There are many.
So so true, everyone looking outside of themselves for a leader!

Spirituality is a way of life. It is not a religion, a "method", and cannot be found and sustained from any single book. It is the understanding that everything is connected, that if I hurt you, I hurt me, and that in order to love someone else, I must know that I'm worthy of love.
Spirituality can be taught but it cannot be bought. And that is just scratching the surface of the subject.
Indeed, it is scratching the surface. The knowing of unity is not enough to truly feel the unity. It really needs a very deep discussion!

Yes, i can not agree more. There are many fake guru's out there who's takes advantage of the naive spiritual student. The true spiritually devotee has to look within and by Grace inner aspects comes up for healing.

I also got into influence of fake gurus. They were talking about love and forgiveness and at the same time were hating those who disagreed with them. Such a hipocrisy...
