Authority (The Illusion of an External Power)
Intrinsically we are our own authorities it can't be any other way for all choice and free will begins with the individual.
Not just superficially either. In fact, one creates the entirety of their reality down to the last detail by virtue of their existence. If one believes otherwise then they will delegate their authority to an external influence whether conscious of it or not and blame that external influence for the reason why their reality is not the most preferable version of what they can conceive of creating in any given moment.
Reality is entirely interpretation. If one believes in any interpretation that anyone hands to them, then that is the reality the individual is choosing to buy into as real. However, it is still the individual who is choosing to believe this story! Thus, any scientist, psychologist, doctor, priest, guru or professor, who profess to know, what your reality is, are simply giving you their version of reality and their version of what they believe you need. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to decide anyways whether or not these external authorities are correct in their assessment.
The idea of authority is to take responsibility completely for the whole of one's own universe. No one can create the reality for the individual except that individual themselves. UNLESS, they believe otherwise. It is always up to the individual to delegate their authority to another if they don't believe they have the power to change themselves.
And if one believes that an entity or institution has control or dominance over them, then they will create the reality that has that effect. Unless they become conscious that the belief is creating the fact. But, if one believes they are their own authority then it doesn't matter what anyone says or does to them, they will only have the effect of total freedom in themselves and eventually have that reflected in the external reality.
Since most individuals have created the idea that they must control the external environment in order to get a preferable reality they are using the illusion of power to seemingly control other people's free will. Yet, if one realizes that no one actually has control over the individual unless the individual themselves agree to it, then they can instead use the power of illusion to realize their own sovereignty in any situation. For changing oneself is the only way real change can occur in the external environment.
