So What If The 12-Steps Programs Are Occultic?

Satan presents humans with counterfeits to God's healing, love and empowerment. We may experience temporary healing but in the long run, this kind of "healing" keeps people bound to spiritual entities. It is NOT God's healing and does not compare to what Jesus Christ does.

Even if a therapy/technique/group proclaims to be "spiritual", use a "higher power" or involves "exorcising demons", this "higher power" is ALWAYS under authority of the fallen spiritual realm which invites and worsens any hold deceptive spiritual entities may have on us.

God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit does not want us to remain in spiritual bondage and under the authority of false gods and demons.

I myself was involved in one such therapy. In my own life, through my own personal healing and education, I've been able to study many different kinds of healing modalities. At university, I studied hypnosis and was introduced to different kinds of common psychotherapies. Later, I dropped into different kinds of 12-step groups and even had my own therapy sessions. I finally trained in a systemic therapy (IFS Therapy). Thankfully God brought me out of each one until I was ready to seek Him only.

Recently, I was in conversation with a man who shared a deep love for God and Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, as we continued to speak, a few worrying things cropped up. This man was a member of the AA, many years sober and even a sponsor to others but he was convinced that if people left the AA, they'd relapse or end up dead. At that point, I realized this man sadly had NO knowledge or experience of the power of the Holy Spirit, despite talking about his deep relationship with God. When he clarified that Jesus Christ wasn't important in the grand scheme of things and that only God was, it made complete sense why he was still spiritually demonised and tied to this organization. There was no freedom for him apart from this group!

Despite sharing information on the origins of the 12-step and how spiritual bondage works, he was convinced the AA was all good. It wasn't enough to know that Bill Wilson, founder of 12 steps, was an occultist who took part in seances, who wrote the 12-steps under channeling and was inspired by major satanist Aleister Crowley etc ... This gentleman was caught in a terrible bind of either relying on these groups for the rest of his life or going through a very challenging trial that might lead to a relapse or even death.

Taking part in occult practices and therapies like reiki, IFS Therapy (which I was trained in), 12-step programs like the AA, quantum healing, hypnosis, shamanic healing etc. is giving permission to receiving demonic spirits which worsen demonization and keep us in spiritual bondage. Usually this demonization is very subtle in the start and those who don't follow the Holy Spirit will have no warning of this. True deliverance cannot be found in psychology, psychotherapies, new age healing etc.

God is pure, holy and loving. His power created the whole universe so when God heals, it's very obvious the healing is directly from God! The healing is from Jesus Christ Himself and from the power of His blood which sends demons fleeing. When God takes on the curse of our own sins, Satan and the fallen realm no longer has any hold on humans. God does not need any techniques, meditation, energy/body work or self help groups -- Jesus Christ is the ONLY step our spirit needs. When we have salvation and just a glimpse of God's omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient power and His pure, holy and loving nature, why would we go for Satan and his minions?
