On Wizards, Magic and Gnosis

I wasted years on esoteric stuff, gnosticism, nonduality etc. Then realized I was as lost as ever and I turned my back on it all. Where there is separation, there is a need for God. So for as long as there is a human body or you call yourself human in anyway, there will be separation and thus a need for God -- even if one doesn't know it. So if you haven't found God and have a personal relationship with Him, you will still remain separated, studying this-and-that and practicing all kinds of techniques until the cows come home or you stop in resignation.

I now believe the Sophia stuff is a distraction. And this is coming from someone who has known "Sophia".

God wants a personal relationship with us. This is what Jesus, the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit is about. It's much plainer than people think it is. The Bible isn't meant to be read "between the lines". I wish I'd found this out much sooner.

After realizing this, I became disgusted by almost all the spiritual "teachers" I'd previously wasted my time on. Especially the ones keeping the 'advanced' level stuff for the higher initiates. Sorry, but it doesn't stick anymore. Our Creator loves us all and affords every human the opportunity to know Him personally, without needing to study secrets. It's all in the Bible and no humans are necessary. Only God.

Our lives are filled with magic already and we don't see it. God is working in our lives whether we know it or not. He has lovingly numbered every hair on our head. It is the pinnacle of disrespect to God and His love for us if we deal with magic and the occult.

We are already made in God's image so who needs wizards?? The state of the world today is a testament to our wizardry, fallen state and disconnection from God.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6)
