How to Tune Into God's Voice / Hearing God's Voice
God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. God exists and all humans can have a personal relationship with Him. I discovered this myself slightly more than a year ago.
HOWEVER....
No one can tune into God's voice. If we "tune into" something, it is more than likely we're actually communicating with spirit-beings. This is mediumship, which further ruptures (on a spiritual level) our relationship with our Creator. Unfortunately, this is what I was unknowingly doing months before I encountered God in my spirit.
Spirit Beings
No godly angel would ever choose to communicate with humans because they understand that:
a) it would harm us on a spiritual level and
b) they would be going against God's will.
Any spirit-being humans communicate with are actually rebellious to God, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. They are deceptive spirit beings (a.k.a. demons) who are under the authority of Satan and other rebellious fallen angels.
God's Voice
When God wants to be heard, He is heard -- wherever we are and whatever condition we're in.
God, our Father and Jesus Christ, His Son, are located in the third Heaven. God does NOT need us to tune into Him and He is already aware of what's in our heart. He is NOT a limited, fallible, created spirit being. God is unlimited and already with us. If our sins have been washed clean, through the "Romans Road", His Holy Spirit lives IN us and speaks of God, the Father and the Son. We KNOW our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit in our spirit. We don't need to concentrate to hear from God and we don't need to try to hear Him.
On the road to Damascus as he looked for Christians to arrest and kill, Saul of Tarsus encountered God suddenly. Even the men who were with him, heard God's voice.
As he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him; and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” And He said, “I am Jesus whom you are persecuting, but get up and enter the city, and it will be told you what you must do.” The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one. Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; and leading him by the hand, they brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. (Acts 9:3-9)
After finding that he was mistaken about Jesus Christ all along, Saul (later becoming Paul) could no longer persecute his fellow brothers and sisters. His three days without sight humbled him and he had time to realize the grave error behind his prior work which he believed he was doing for God. I believe Saul was strongly empowered by the demons/spirits of religion to do this prior work. Despite his faith in God, he willingly chose to follow the demonic influences in his life.
Tuning into Spirit Beings Vs. Being In a Relationship with God
Mediumship, necromancy and witchcraft all involve active communication with demonic entities or spirits, even if they present themselves as deceased ancestors, ascended beings, gods or goddesses, ETs or "angels of light" and love.
Sin is the only barrier separating humans from having a personal relationship with God. Sin means spiritual violence -- it hurts us, others and God and any sin creates disconnection from God. This is why Adam and Eve fell and could no longer live forever.
Because all human beings are descendants from spiritually fallen Adam and Eve, we die. Furthermore, any sin (our own or ancestral) gives demons legal right to demonize us or our children.
After seeing the Truth of Jesus Christ, Paul repented for his sins and gladly accepted Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as his saviour (the sinless one who took on the curse of Paul's own sins). Paul received the Holy Spirit and was able to have a personal relationship with God, the Father and God, the Son, through the Holy Spirit.
The Pauline letters to the different churches are the most advanced spiritual texts I've ever read. They are written for those who already have the Holy Spirit. Soon after being unexpectedly born again, the letters mirrored exactly what was revealed to me by the Holy Spirit directly in my spirit. No tuning in or meditation of any kind was involved.
Growing in Discernment
God loves every human soul. As we repent of our sins and walk in faith and with the Holy Spirit, we start to realise that God has been with us all along. There is NO need to tune into anything. With the Holy Spirit and the Bible, we start to become more discerning and learn to follow God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, rather than the demonic influences in our life we were previously tuning into. Being a Christian does not make us immune to deception.
God gave us faculties like our intellect, free-will and a conscience (which can get corrupted through ignoring it and sin) for a reason. He wants us to use them to the best of our abilities, with His direction, rather than putting us in a stupor or trance. An intellect can protect us from deception by spiritual entities; our free-will from control and domination and a conscience to help follow God's commandments when we have no relationship with God. Our body and soul is designed to seek God but we need to become wise to the deception, confusion and condemning messages of the fallen spiritual realm.
One can be a devout Christian, who loves Jesus Christ, but still be deceived by a spirit pretending to be God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit. It takes a gift of discerning spirits, intimacy with God and sound biblical knowledge to know the spirit behind a person's words, dreams or visions.
God hates witchcraft, necromancy and mediumship. None of these practices do anything for the human spirit and only work on the body/soul level. Again, on a spiritual level, these activities harm us because they ALL keep people AWAY from God, hurt God and deceive us.
Spiritual falsehoods are actually poison to our soul and spirit. This is something else I discovered after being born again in the Holy Spirit. If you've been involved in any of these, it is safe to say that you're dealing with demonization on some level even if you stopped participating in these activities or are unaware of demonization:

◆ reiki
◆ tarot
◆ astrology
◆ cult rituals (freemasonry, catholicism etc)
◆ trance inducing practices -- repetitive prayers/ chants/ drumming
◆ prayers to the "Virgin Mary", saints or angels
◆ IFS Therapy (what I did as a therapist)
◆ astral travel
◆ using hallucinogenic substances which induce visions etc.
◆ neurolinguistic programming
◆ hypnosis
◆ magick / sorcery
◆ quantum healing and similar therapies
◆ energy work of any kind
◆ celebrating halloween and other pagan feasts, even if you don't believe in it.
◆ owning objects, keeping altars etc.
◆ and more...
As we draw closer to God, the Holy Spirit reveals and shows us what and why something is harmful.
The only way out of demonization is to:
◆ Have the authority of the indwelling Holy Spirit, through Jesus Christ's salvation.
◆ forgive ourselves and other humans for influencing us to take part,
◆ repenting from sin and doing these activities,
◆ actively resist further demonic influence and
◆ draw closer to God.
When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord." (Deuteronomy 18:9-12 NIV)
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8 KJV)
And when they say to you, 'Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,' should not a people seek their God? (Isaiah 8:19, NKJV)
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14, NKJV)
