A generation that puts their eyes on Christ.
Colossians 3:1-4
"- 1- If, then, you have risen with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
2- Put your sights on the things above, not on the earth.
3- Because you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
4- When Christ, your life, is manifested, then you too will be manifested with him in glory."

As a child one of the favorite things is to be invited by a friend to your home, spend leisure time with another child and share toys, video games and moments. These moments will be remembered for many years and are unwavering. The illusion in the child is so great that if for whatever reason it is finally not possible to carry out the coup is very large.
Pablo presents to the Colossians a situation that should produce in them an illusion greater than that of a child being invited to a friend's house, "If, then, you have risen with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Put your sights on the things above, not on the earth. Because you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, your life, is manifested, then you too will be manifested with him In glory.
Pablo is offering hope to the Colossians, he is giving them strength in the midst of their difficult circumstance and pressure on the part of the Jews and Gnostics and wants to comfort them and encourage them not to look at what surrounds them, to look up at the sky, where Christ has Satisfied the Righteousness of God and has sat at the right hand and there is his life and his hope.

Where is our hope today? What is our life? Where do we look? The place where we direct our gaze is the place where our heart looks and proves what we love.
Let's look up, make the home to which we have not only been invited, but in which we will be glorified and live forever. Let's not look around and put our eyes on the sky because we know that Christ will come back and enjoy it for all eternity.
I always enjoy stories that connect Bible lessons with real world cases. It gives me something to connect with and understand.
