VERSE OF THE DAY AND MY Thoughts On The Word
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Colossians 3:13 NIV
When someone hurts us, we have a choice to forgive. It's the best choice I believe if we are really a follower of Christ. When Christ was crucified, He chose to forgive and even asked the Father to forgive the oppressors.
We have to forgive even there's no apology. We have to forgive because we also need forgiveness. Forgive as the Lord forgave you... But how did the Lord forgive us?
When God forgave us, He cleansed us. He justified us. And He forgets our sins. The Bible says in Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
This is how the Lord forgives us. He is able to cleanse us and turn our red sins into white as snow.
How about you my friend? Do you forgive even your oppressor doesn't ask for forgiveness? It's a choice and it's a good choice...

To the extent that we forgive in the same measure the Lord will do with us.
In universal prayer, it expresses it; Forgive our sins, as we forgive those who offend us.
Blessings.
Thanks @nayibe for dropping by...yes we have to forgive so we can be forgiven also.
Forgiveness is what we and everybody get from God Jehovah easily, by pleading but, some people find it difficult to forgive some one who offends them, what @joshvel has said, it very important to forgive both our enemies, not just friends.
