Stop the addiction
From the other two pieces that i made, this one is currently left, what is this going to be about. Becoming conscious of your toxic behaviour or grabbing a smoke, because you are stressed or starting to drink when you feel lonely etc.
This post will be about beating these bad forms of behaviour and alchemically change it into something positive, so that instead of rewarding your mind with something bad for your body. Actually something good for your body.
This will be one hell of a ride for you personally, i can already say. The battles will be insane inside of you and you will feel very ill and weak, powerless. But afterwards you are a changed person, truly being able to go even further beyond!
Where did the addiction start
Mostly an addiction starts, because it has a connection between something out of the past or a hurt that had wounded you so much that you could not face it and instead flee to a certain item a certain thing that keeps you away.
Then before you know it, instead of fleeing it becomes something normal to you and you keep on doing it.
Other cases are, because of social pressure. Others are doing it and so must I to fit in.
Everything can make you addicted
You can already start feeling about the actual battle behind someone addicted to something and it is not that, because certain materials have some addiction chemical in it (it does work with it though), but you can be addicted to EVERYTHING.
It is all about the past hurt or a trait so negative that you are hiding it, because it can destroy the current illusion of the life you are having, which can be a pleasant one.
Everything can make you addicted, it depends on where the issue is linked with it. Like that smoking most of the time started out at middle school, because your buddies were smoking.
(nowadays it is even common occurence at the lower social ladder to smoke weed at that age, nothing against it. But in my eyes way to young and you are still damaging your lungs and untrained children using that kind of stuff, will also damage their brain long term)
This is just one example out of many though, but it shows a clear idea.
You are living in a hell you created yourself
This is also an hell, forced to live a lie, where you cannot get out of. Unable to actually grow, like you should. Most in the end choose to keep living a lie, till everything is taken away from them and their ego is destroyed.
I am here to tell though, if you choose that. Then on the deepest end inside, you always will end up being depressed, weak and powerless when it comes down to it. You are unable to bring true change, to not only yourself but the people around you.
At this point i can even say that a lot of people are living and made a lie out of their lives and not letting them learn the lessons that they need to learn. I have written before about how to solve a lot of the issues of breaking down the lies bit by bit.
From Knowing Thyself, till facing your past trauma's and looking towards a better future.
This stands as something else though, because this is just not a trauma to work down through, but a physical manifestation of a certain trauma and that makes a lot of work towards it more complicated!
Let's start solving it!
This is the part that we are going to become practical, but it does not make it more easy. This demands a reflection from yourself! This demands you SEEING the TRUTH!
Like in my other posts, questioning thyself on your behaviour. When are you doing this, when are you doing that?
Look in the mirror with the item in your hand, not to feel shame. But be pissed at yourself for the fact how far you have let yourself go for quite a while!
Now that you are angry and confused, you are open for changing it! Instead of doing what you normally do in your addiction, replace it with something just as rewarding (in terms of fake rewards as it was first), but healthy for you!
Slowly let it replace it completely.
You are now thinking, i just replaced one addiction with another! And i say, yes you did. But the system we work with is to change something negative, into giving it a positive trait and work the change from the positive trait!
Now that it has turned into something healthy and more positive, start questioning yourself if you need it all the time with that certain situation or thought behind it?
Notice that, now that it became something healthy and that you made the change from negative to positive out of your own strength.
Now start learning about your own strenght and that there is no actual need for the item anymore. (healthy is still healthy though)
Explore the strength to it's fullest and start using it to help others in your daily life. You will notice on how people are starting to treat you, on how your family starts to treat you and that everything is starting to fall into Truth. The Truth you created!
Take your time!
This piece is not made to solve your issues today, but it is so that you follow it slowly, but steady. There is only one real person being able to make that change and that is YOU!
There are more ways to beat an addiction, but up till now the one i just wrote about is my favorite one, because it is pure self reflection and the realisation of the reality you are in.
My question as well is, do you want to be the hero of your own story? Or do you want to be the depressed bystander?
Bonus:
I took a more offensive approach in this piece, because it is also how i am used to treat myself. Direct, Hard, Disciplined and Pushing Myself Beyond and Being Honest with myself.
Create a new and better life for yourself, you are worth it and you too can become a hero!
