Solemn saturday

Hello😀 once again to all you steemians, a warm welcome into the month of April,this is kind of a late post cause it was supposed to be posted on easter day, hope you all had good laughs on your April fools day jokes.
And it was Easter, hope you all got a visit from the easter bunny , hope the eggs were big enough and the presents mind blowing enough.
The content of this post is somewhat spiritual related as tis a season to be jolly and full of good cheer it also is a season to reflect on our spiritual lives.
On the day dated 31 march 2018 I was opportuned to be present at an event this was the memorial of our beloved Jesus . As the planet turned on its axis, millions around the world gathered, I being among these ones, to commemorate the death of Jesus Christ and what a truly unifying event that was, the focus of the event was centered on jesus' command to continually observe the Lords evening meal and also the importance of this event which
According to the scriptures
ultimately leads to life eternal.
At this event hosted by Jehovah's witnesses,
the emblems consisting of unleavened bread and a non alcoholic red wine, . were passed around.
It was explained that these signified Jesus' shed blood and flesh and those partaking of them were those selected for life in heaven.
But what really stuck to heart was the love and unity existing among the witnesses, you had people from all walks of life , different ethnic groups, different personalities and each with not a mind for his or herself but for people around them.
never has such a bond of unity so strong existed.
