I would doubt the dying part. If you read all the Astral Projection books by the pro's they would have died long ago and we would have the info, so your safe! Getting scared out of your mind, is another thing....
Yes I doubt the dying part as well, but I've just shared what I've found. But the part where you can get scared is true and anyone who attempts it should be well prepared.
