You Need To Take A HARD Second Look At Paul

in #spirituality8 years ago (edited)

Paul is one of the most influential figure in Christian History. For many he is responsible for the proliferation of Christianity across the world. They would be right. From the point of view of MAN Paul can be considered GREAT.

I felt the same way before. But Paul is hiding not only dark secrets, he is hiding some pitch BLACK secrets.

Are you ready to take an honest to goodness second look at PAUL? To help you prepare for some shocking details later, let us clarify first who is Paul in your life and your future.

Paul for most Christians is an apostle. Writer of some biblical "new testament" books and epistles. Maybe a saint for some. Believing in his teachings can either lead to salvaton or damnation.

Thats it. Thats the most that Paul should be in a Christian's life. Paul is not Christ and Paul is not God. Which incidentally even these top two persons deserve the second look from some segments of our society, so PAUL getting a second close scrutiny should not be an issue.

Let us PUT PAUL'S CLAIMS INTO THE TEST!

  1. Paul claims THE LAW(TORAH) IS ABROGATED.

Most Christian denominations of today does not feel it necessary to adhere to the TORAH of God. Mostly because of the reason that Paul said it so in many of his writings. Let us examine how Paul himself treat the LAW.

IN the book of ACTS chapter 9 Paul is still known as Saul, in verse 26 you will read how other disciples of Christ doubt that Saul is really a disciple too. So from Acts Chapter 9 to Chapter 21 we can read how Paul actively "preached" to many different cities and places. Then he returned to Jerusalem.

Now understand this, that at that time, the written books and epistles of Paul does not exist yet. But what he wrote later are some of the things he preached between chapters 9 and chapter 21 of ACTS.

What happened on his return to Jerusalem?

Read Acts 21:18-21

18 The next day Paul went with us to see James; and all the church elders were present.
19 Paul greeted them and gave a complete report of everything that God had done among the Gentiles through his work.
20 After hearing him, they all praised God. Then they said, "Brother Paul, you can see how many thousands of Jews have become believers, and how devoted they all are to the Law.
21 They have been told that you have been teaching all the Jews who live in Gentile countries to abandon the Law of Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or follow the Jewish customs.

This is a revealing 4 verses in the book that EVEN PAUL'S CLOSE FRIEND LUKE wrote.

The church of the disciples of Christ's elders were there and Paul reported to them(meaning he recognized their authority over him at that time) then suddenly after his report they inquired of him of WHAT WAS THE THEME OF PAUL'S "PREACHING", what did they come to know that Paul is teaching? Paul is identifying himself as a disciple(even an apostle) of Christ and yet, according to Acts 21:21 He is teaching those who are listening to him TO ABANDON THE LAW and whatnot.

Of course having no direct contact to the people whom Paul have preached, the report to the Jerusalem elders would be treated as "NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL PROVEN TRUE." This is the reason why, they were asking Paul directly about this. In short they were asking Paul: ARE YOU TEACHING THE PEOPLE TO ABANDON THE LAW?

**You personally, what would you say? **

Based on the teachings that you have been taught all this while, how will you reply to that question about what Paul teaches?

Will you say NO HE DID NOT! Or will you affirm that INDEED PAUL TEACHES THAT THE LAW IS NOW ABROGATED AND THERES NO NEED TO FOLLOW AND OBSERVE THEM?

Easy question is it not? Easy answer too.

Until you read how Paul HIMSELF reacted to that inquiry.

Let us continue reading this interesting incident at Acts 21:22-24

22 They are sure to hear that you have arrived. What should be done, then?
23 This is what we want you to do. There are four men here who have taken a vow.
24 Go along with them and join them in the ceremony of purification and pay their expenses; then they will be able to shave their heads. In this way everyone will know that there is no truth in any of the things that they have been told about you, but that you yourself live in accordance with the Law of Moses.

Now in these verses, the elders have given Paul the benefit of the doubt and even taught him how to PROVE to others that HE DOES NOT TEACH THE ABROGATION OF THE LAW. They told him to: go with 4 men, do the ceremonial purification at the temple, pay their expenses.

This way, the elders explained would show that PAUL FOLLOWS THE LAW. Which in turn would indirectly prove HE DOES NOT TEACH THAT THE LAW IS DONE AWAY WITH.

Now, look here. This is a dilemma.

If he will obey the elders order, he will be a double tounged liar and would be lying on both sides too, in front of the elders, he will be making it appear he follows the LAW. While for the people he already taught, he is lying that the law is now abrogated.

While if he does not follow the elders order, he will be clearly saying to them that INDEED he taught that way against the Law. proving to them that he is in fact a real apostate. And will face death by stoning.

Which one did Paul chose?

His choice is written in verse 26

26 So Paul took the men and the next day performed the ceremony of purification with them. Then he went into the Temple and gave notice of how many days it would be until the end of the period of purification, when a sacrifice would be offered for each one of them.

Coward.

So Christians of today, use the same teachings of PAUL to prove that there is no need to FOLLOW THE LAW and that the LAW HAS BEEN ABROGATED. No dear readers. It is only Paul that teaches that and look how he acted when confronted FACE TO FACE with the real disciples of Christ! HE HIMSELF PRETENDED TO FOLLOW THE LAW!

This means that Paul's first claim that the law has been abrogated is just a self inspired lie that he himself does not have the balls to stand for. You don't have to defend that either.

  1. Paul claims that he is an Apostle

Read Paul's letters, what do you find in most of his introductions? "I Paul the apostle..." Yup! He managed to say that in all sorts of manner. He is an Apostle of Christ, he says.

I can claim to be the President of the United States! But there will be several ways to prove or disprove my claim right? Am I recognized by the people of USA as such? Do the chain of command recognize me as such? Does the higher institutions like the UN recognize me as such? No matter how many books and letters I may write prefacing and starting each one with "I, eateagle13 the President of the United States of America..." wont help me.

We can use the same method here.

No other disciple except for his close friend calls Paul as an Apostle. (You may want to review Acts 21 again and see how he is being addressed by the real Apostles of Christ in Jerusalem. Yes those elders at Jerusalem are the Apostles of Christ, living in contemporary with Paul! No disciple calls him Apostle. Have I said that already? :)

There were books and epistles too written by the Apostles of Christ which Christ personally chose and taught(12 of them), Like the book of John, Matthew, Jude, James and Peter and NOT A SINGLE TIME did any one of these, honest to goodness Apostles, called or addressed Paul as an Apostle, the highest he was addressed is "brother", and this is only because they were mislead to believe about what he teach.

Do the Christ recognize Paul as an Apostle?

In Christ's revelation in the book of the same name we can find these:

2 I know what you have done; I know how hard you have worked and how patient you have been. I know that you cannot tolerate evil people and that you have tested those who say they are apostles but are not, and have found out that they are liars. - Rev 2:2 GNT

The real followers of Christ is being commended, BECAUSE THEY TESTED THOSE WHO CLAIMED TO BE APOSTLE OF CHRIST AND FOUND THEM LYING! Hmmm. Who can these be? Do you any other person that claimed to be an Apostle of Christ? Me, I know one of them.

Now on to another Christ's revelation.

14 The city's wall was built on twelve foundation stones, on which were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. - Rev 21:14 GNT

Now this is really revealing. YOU MEAN, AFTER ALL THE THINGS HAS HAPPENED WHEN THE TIME TO END THIS EVIL SYSTEM AND CROWN THE FAITHFUL HAS COME THERE IS ONLY 12 APOSTLES??!! No I don't. I dont have any right to say that. BUT CHRIST DO. And he did.

The 12 Apostles were handpicked and personally taught by Christ, after the death of Judas Scariot, he was replaced. DID PAUL REPLACED JUDAS THE TRAITOR??? NO.

21 "So then, someone must join us as a witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. He must be one of the men who were in our group during the whole time that the Lord Jesus traveled about with us, beginning from the time John preached his message of baptism until the day Jesus was taken up from us to heaven."
23 So they proposed two men: Joseph, who was called Barsabbas (also known as Justus), and Matthias.
24 Then they prayed, "Lord, you know the thoughts of everyone, so show us which of these two you have chosen
25 to serve as an apostle in the place of Judas, who left to go to the place where he belongs."
26 Then they drew lots to choose between the two men, and the one chosen was Matthias, who was added to the group of eleven apostles. - Acts 1:21-26 GNT

Clearly it is not Paul, it is Matthias who replaced Judas. The faithful to Christs Apostles remained 12.

Thats why if Paul would insist on his being an Apostle, there should be 13 Apostles right? Christ would know the adjustment wouldn't He? Maybe His revelations should have 13 foundation walls???

What do you honestly think?

Clashing words between Paul claiming he is an Apostle and the disciples, the Apostles themselves and Christ, I am very much inclined to believe that Paul is not an Apostle.

  1. 15 For even if you have ten thousand guardians in your Christian life, you have only one father. For in your life in union with Christ Jesus I have become your father by bringing the Good News to you. -1Cor. 4:15 - GNT

Paul is so full of himself that he inadvertently claimed something clearly forbidden by Christ.

9 And you must not call anyone here on earth "Father,' because you have only the one Father in heaven. - Mat. 23:9 GNT

Enough said.

  1. What is SUMMARY OF THE LAW? Paul claims that:

14 For the whole Law is summed up in one commandment: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself - Gal 5:14 GNT

Really?! Poor people to whom this Paul taught, they don't have the means to check what Christ have really taught to compare that to this teaching. Hmmm, We are indeed blessed!

What did Christ taught??

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 **All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” **

So for Paul, all the LAWS boil down to: Love your neighbor as you love yourself
While for Christ all the LAWS boil down to :** ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’** AND ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’.

Why did Paul omit the 1st command? Is he more authoritative than Christ Himself?

I know that for many Christians, these 4 claims only, being proven false, would be so much to take in, in one go. So I'll stop here. All I want is for you dear readers to take A HARD LOOK ON WHAT PAUL REALLY IS.

How do you feel after reading this? Does it bother you? Does it even matter?
Were you offended? Delighted? Tell me how you feel on the comments below.

To give credit where credit is due. I started to see these things only after seeing fyrstikken youtube video about Paul (maybe about 6 years ago), from that point on I made so much research on the subject and it has been a major contributor on my path to the true message of God. - -east

Sort:

The upshot is Paul and the Apostles are all dead. They did not attain the "Resurrection from the Dead".
Why?
Romans 8:13 tells us - "Live after the flesh and die, mortify the deeds of the body and live".
There is no death in Jesus Christ.

Letter to the Romans, is one of Paul's letter and does not bear any weight for me. Though I firmly believe in the resurrection, Jn 5:28,29 Which Christ Himself declared, even the believers can die but they will live again to LIFE.
