Nine Powers of Mother Durga: Navratri Day 1

in #spirituality7 years ago (edited)

From my Vulva Wisdom Oracle©: Durga has nine manifestations: each of Her manifestation Goddess has a different form and a special significance. She embodies feminine spiritual power which comes from practices which lead to liberation

On the first day of Navratri—the celebration of Mother Durga's victory over evil and ignorance She embodies both Shailaputri and Mother Kali. As Shailaputri she is the daughter of the king of the mountains of the Himalayas; the manifestation of an answered prayer. She knows and uses masculine energy of very well. She is strength, courage, protection of self through wise leadership decisions concerning yourself and your birthrights.

Now for a little information about Mother Kali from my Vulva Wisdom Oracle©. She does not play around. She is often shown as a wrathful Divine Mother but hidden beneath her terrifying (to some) presence is true Divine Mother Love. She is the essence of the primordial mother energy out of which all existence past, present, and future and all its myriad forms appear (Field of Creation or Morphogenic Field of Resonance). It is She who determines the lifetime of anything and those who have a fear of ending cycles of any kind would be blessed by devotion to Her. Reading stories written by those who wish to marginalize her may only move you away from her as this is a one sided story. She is a powerful Black Mother who holds her children dear to Her and will remove obstacles to your spiritual and material goals quickly.

I'm not really familiar with the Goddess and her story that you depict here, but I do find it quite interesting. The pictures, however, are fascinating! There is a certain power that emanates from Manna Dev's image that I can't ignore.

Thanks for sharing this, @awakened-oracle!

Yes, Navratri is a world wide celebration of the Divine Mother as Durga; a very powerful time to receive blessings and help...

Very cool! Thank you. I'll be looking forward to your next blog. Cheers!
