Acceptance creates Harmony
Unconditional Love means accepting that each Soul has ultimate creative Freedom. It is not about convincing anyone over our sense of Love or Truth and make the Love we give to others dependent on how much they resonate with our own sense of Love. Acceptance creates Harmony.

You're reminding me of the saying, “To be a Buddha doesn’t mean to be seen as a Buddha. It is to see the world as Buddha.” This I think is unconditional love. Everywhere we look we see the Buddha in all, even if its display is not what our personalities would want.

Indeed. In a sense, we are One appearing as many. Once we realize that any person is just another version of our Self, we can learn to see that Oneness in everyone no matter what their behavior indicates, and treat them according to that Oneness with the corresponding empathy.
