Making a Kairomantik Deck

This is not an artistic, poetic, philosophical, inspirational, or flashy system. It is intended to be strictly utilitarian for fast diagnostics. It is not enchanted with its own inherent power. It is only meant to be a medium for your own guiding sources to give you information. How you interpret that information is personal and nuanced.

The topics I have ascribed to the cards are things that I have noticed come up a lot in my own experience which are harder to divine with other systems. I tried to place the topics with the cards that I felt most closely matched traditional associations, though these are not traditional.

Most cards have multiple words - use your intuition to determine which one is most appropriate, or do some simple dowsing with a pendulum or muscle testing.

Out of habit, I shuffle 3 times, cut 3 times, move the top 3 cards to the back, then fan the cards out and draw randomly. This is not necessary, it's just the way I like doing it.

Usually I do a 5 card spread in a straight line to see if there’s a pattern, with the cards to the left being past into present, the center being present, and the cards to the right being future.

Oberto Airaudi’s Synchronic spread is also useful for more detailed analysis of what energy is going where:

Card 1 (center) – spiritual level
Card 2 (below) – physical level
Card 3 (left) – emotional level
Card 4 (above) – mental level
Card 5 (right) – most synchronic action/energy/etc

The common cartomantic 9 card spread, 3 rows of 3, is also good for larger issues , but I personally find too many cards over-complicate the message.

The deck is made by writing on a regular deck of playing cards. Don't get too focused on making it pretty, focus on making it comfortable.
