In the Movie Alice in Wonderland, The main character, Alice, Finds herself in a foreign universe when she falls down a rabbit hole.

At one point during her journey, she finds herself exploring a house.
As she is curious about this foreign place, she is explorative.

She tries one of the candies on display on a shelf, and finds herself growing.

She grows to such a size that, she becomes bigger than the room that she is in, and still grows to become bigger than the house, her limbs sticking out of the windows and doors.

She ends up having to find a counter-acting potion to reverse the growth magic.

What is interesting is that there is an actual phenomenon where one seems to grow in size, and it is no fairy tail.

In-deed, there is an actual phenomenon where one seems to grow to be bigger and bigger than their surroundings, even bigger than their body.

They experience themselves to be growing in size.
They experience the spiritual essence that is themselves to be growing in size, and they feel like a giant. Yet, simultaneously, they are aware that their body is still the same size.

This has been Dubbed the "Alice in Wonderland syndrome."

But how could this phenomenon exist?

How can one experience to be growing in size, but at the same time know that their body is the same size?

If ones body is not growing, how can one feel like they are becoming bigger?

This is possible because it is not the body that is expanding, but spirit.

And so, although ones body does not actually grow in size, they experience themselves to be bigger than their body and their surroundings.

This is called the Alice in wonderland syndrome because one feels like they have actually grown in size, even though they havent.

They feel 1000 times bigger, yet their body does not actually increase in size like in the story.

This is a spiritual phenomenon where one becomes so connected to their inner spirit, that their inner spirit feels like it is expanding - to the point where they feel like they are larger than their body is - loke they are larger than life.

One feels like they are HUGE; like they are gigantic.

They feel like they are bigger than their surroundings, because their inner spirit has expanded within them, to the point where the conscious awareness that is truly them expands throughout their whole body, and they feel like their body is bigger because they as spirit are bigger within their body.

People have even reported experiencing this to the extent where they find that, when walking through their city, the buildings and other physical objects around them seem smaller.

As if they could bound over them with a single step.

Yet still they know that their body is the same size.

The only thing that has happened, is that their inner spirit has expanded, and so they feel like they are a giant, and that their body is huge.

In Truth, they have become so connected to their inner spirit, which is who they really are, that they experience themselves expanding to the extent where they feel they are bigger and more power- full than their bodies.

In other words, they have succumb to a spiritual growth spurt similar to that of Alice.

Yet, they will probably not find themselves growing to such an extent that their limbs are reaching out of their windows and door ways.

...or maybe they will? ;)
