LEARN VEDIC ASTROLOGY: DRISHTI (ASPECTS/ANGLES)
Planets are said to have forward angles. Each planet has seventh viewpoint and is viewed as the most capable. 5 planets among 9 have exceptional angles.
Planets Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus have only one aspect. They aspect seventh house from the house they occupy. Counting always starts from that house where the planet is sitting and is always in ANTI-CLOCKWISE DIRECTION.
For example:
If Sun is in 1st house then it will aspect 7th house.
If Moon is in 2nd house then it will aspect 8th house.
If Mercury is in 4th house then it will aspect 10th house.
If Venus is in 12th house then it will aspect 6th house.

1) Planet Mars aspects 4rd, 7th and 8th house from the house it occupies.
2) Planet Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu aspects 5th, 7th and 9th house from the house they occupy.
3) Planet Saturn aspects 3rd, 7th and 10th house from the house it occupies.
For example:
If Mars is in 1st house then it will aspect 4th, 7th and 8th house.
If Jupiter is in 4th house then it will aspect 8th, 10th and 12th house.
Rahu and Ketu are always opposite to each other i.e. at 180 degree distance. E.g. if Rahu is in 1st house then Ketu will be in 7th house; if Rahu is in 8th house then Ketu will be in the 2nd house.
If Rahu is in 5th house then Ketu will be in 11th house. So Rahu will aspect 9th, 11th and 1st house and Ketu will aspect 3rd, 5th and 7th house.
If Saturn is in 9th house then it will aspect 11th, 3rd and 6th house.
