What is the spiritual insight according to the bible? Definition and meaning with examples.

The spiritual insight can mean in the bible, discernment or understanding. Although the discernment is a consequence of the understanding. The insight is also known as "reading within". The insight has two characteristics is "precision and accuracy". The insight is free from error, regarding the elaboration of the concepts and judgments.
Tomas Aquinas explains to us that the difference between reason and insight is that reason seeks the temporal things, instead of the insight that seeks the eternal and immutable truths. The insight works with the essence of the things, not with the appearances.
The understanding is free from fantasy and is associated with the faculties of the spirit: intuition, inspiration and creativity.

The insight is necessary to read and interpret, correctly the bible or the word of God: "Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this" 2 Timothy 2:7; also: "He opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures" Luke 24:45; "Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but no to them", Matthew 13:11; "Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666" Revelations 13:18.
The insight is one of the gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:31: "Now eagerly desire the greater gifts". We receive this spiritual gift in the Gnosis:
"Very truly I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again".
How can someone be born when they are old? Nicodemus asked.
Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother's womb to be born!
Jesus answered: "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying: "You must be born again". The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the spirit". John 3:1-8
An example or practical case of insight in the bible are the three wise men who visit Jesus, the understanding gives to the wise men the capacity to see in the hidden, they have the guide of God; the Lord warns them of the dangers and gives them his judgment about the intentions of King Herod :
"After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him."
When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born.
"In Bethlehem in Judea", they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written:
"But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel""
Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him."
After they had heard the King, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route" Matthew 2:1-12
