RE: SteemPower Investments - Comparing Centralized vs Decentralized format

in #spinvest5 years ago

The most successful projects in the blockchain world seem to be the ones that have some type of foundation at the core. This is not in control yet is guiding the ship. Depending upon the project, it also can be responsible for things such as marketing, promotion, and partnership agreements.

I would like to see a similar thing here hence the mixed idea works. Get a team of people together who are interested and sensible in this area and let them guide the ship. The community ie token holders can offer up votes on major issues such as a cafeteria plan of investments yet the decisions of the balance and where to invest when is up to the foundation. This streamlines the process.

You then could get into the rotation basis for the different positions along with community voting.

This removes it all from your shoulders yet does give people the opportunity to get involved. It also makes things more effective in my opinion.
