Spider-Man out of the MCU

Sony and Marvel/Disney couldn't come to terms to continue their relationship, so Sony is taking Spider-Man back and making their own movies.

My feeling is that this might make the movies, both MCU ones and Sony ones, less interesting. The giant plot threads will remain dangling forever from Spider-Man's relationship with Iron Man. But I like that there's at least one company out there pushing back against Disney's growing dominance of the entertainment and cultural landscape.
