Tom Holland's Spider Man could return to Marvel Studios
A week after Spider Man's exit from Marvel Studios and MCU made the headlines, industry insiders are now giving hints that Sony and Disney could probably work on a new deal that would allow Tom Holland to play Spider-Man in MCU.
It has a dramatic week for Marvel fans as Walt Disney and Sony Pictures deal reached an impasse, showing Spider-Man the back door. Sony confirmed that Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige can no longer be a part of the future Spider-Man movies. After numerous developments happening, fans were concluding with the fact that Spidey wouldn't be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4.
However, God might appear to heard their prayers and insiders claim that Spider-Man might swing into MCU. Reliable sources from the trade have taken to social media to reveal that Walt Disney and Sony are working around a brand new deal. The ComicBookMovie.com contributor Mikey Sutton took to Facebook to reveal that some sources are telling him that Disney and Sony deal is back on the table for re-discussion. He wrote, "I am hearing from sources inside Sony and Disney that both sides might reach a new agreement in a week, more or less. Contract talks continue. I caution that, in business, the smallest differences could result in this being tabled once again. But for now, they seem to be floating in the right direction. Tom Holland was given strict orders at a recent convention to not mention the Sony-Disney dispute as a result of he would possibly end up spoiling sensitive data."
Well, we all know Tom Holland is known to spill the beans before it even happens. Meanwhile, Holland reacted to Spider Man's exit from MCU at the D23 Expo which took place over the weekend. He told Entertainment Weekly, "Basically, we’ve made five great movies. It’s been five amazing years. I’ve had the time of my life. Who knows what the future holds? But all I know is that I’m going to continue playing Spider-Man and having the time of my life. It’s going to be so fun, however, we choose to do it. The future for Spider-Man will be different, but it will be equally as awesome and amazing, and we’ll find new ways to make it even cooler."
