Spiderman Easter Egg in IronMan 2

So it turns out that the long time fan theory that Tom Holland's Spiderman character actually made an appearance in Iron Man 2. Check out the image below:

Holland and Marvel Studios both confirmed earlier this week that this adorable little kid, who is saved by Tony Stark ie Iron Man is in fact Peter Parker. Fans have long speculated on this but is it a studio merely taking advantage of a fan conjured theory to promote greater continuity among films... or should we really believe that Marvel planned this all the way back in 2010? Interested to hear your feedback!
