Speculation idea
We all know that electric cars are the future. Tesla gets everyones attention, but there are hundreds of other manufacturers of electric cars, many of those are in China. By 2035 1/ 3 of all vehicles are projected to be electronic vehicles. It is projected that all new cars made in 2035 will be electric.
Here is what everyone is missing however. Electric cars require far more copper zink and cobalt than regular cars. Based on my estimation the worlds copper supplies would have to double for that to work. In economics that means the price of copper goes up, way up.
One of the worlds biggest copper mining companies is Glencore. Its currently trading at a 49% discount to its former high.
To me, it makes a lot of sense to sell the nose bleed valuation level stocks that are trading at 200 plus times earnings, and buy a solid company like Glencore at a discount.
I can't agree more. Miners are generally a great buy now... Everything else is a sell. In fact, those who are holding anything other than miners, should consider themselves lucky and get out while they still can because these imaginary prices are gonna have to correct one day...

It seems like a pretty good idea if no other technologies are found.
As steem-buzz posted graphene technology may be the future.
It requires little atom thin pieces of graphene to hold a huge amount of power as well as to charge in seconds.
I don't know how quickly this will be mass produced but it could be a contender in the markets @davidp
Agreed the battery technology is the key to making it successful from a user standpoint. Also as a side note from a resale standpoint!!! Ask yourself do you want to buy a used electric car with a battery inside that could cost 5-7k to replace it if its bad? So to me they really need to perfect the battery situation. But the copper is in the wiring like an aircraft.
