CARING FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN
Part of the activities we have had during the 120th Celebration of the Philippine Independence was the 5K Run for a Cause. The proceeds of which is the Improvement of the Special Education Classroom of the Impasugong Central Elementary School. It is the utmost intent of the local government to provide quality education to our special children and to let them feel significant despite their physical and mental condition.
These kids we call Special Children are individuals who need our utmost love and patience. We must not deprive them from the education and all other services. Despite their vulnerabilities it does not change the fact that they are a significant component in our society, thus, in our journey towards development, we ensure to walk with them hand in hand.
The photo shows our special children rendering a dance number during the celebration together with their parents. So touching to see them doing such thing.
