Neo-Speakeasies

in #speakeasy4 years ago

Bearing in mind the latest insanity from Governor Cuomo, regarding curfews on restaurants & bars, which has parallels among a lot of Democrat politicians in urban areas, I do envision the possibility of a new emergence of private restaurants and bars which are neo-speakeasies. The new prohibition against normal pursuits of pleasant evenings out on the town or merely dropping by a favorite spot for food, drink and camaraderie cannot be popular. True, the Democrat shutdowns have done much to cut expendable spending among American, especially factoring in the business closings which have gone hand-in-glove with the shutdowns. Although the Fed has been creating digital money like crazy and parking it in Major Banks' reserve deposits, as well as other financial danger points identified by it, not much reaches the streets. Things are rigged to bail-out "the rich but unwise." Many games of this sort.

While all this is going on, the "responsible" Democrats demand voluntary imprisonment by the people. For them it is sort of like telling the people that we are under attack by terrorists, Russians, etc., except it is a man-made virus "raising its head" again. Instead of demanding that the CIA (or whoever) stops spraying hitherto unreleased versions of Sars 2 CoV 19 for which peculiar "growth-of-function" no treatment has yet been devised. [No fear! A vaccine should be ready in two years, maybe earlier.]

Remember to get a life! It should be six feet away, hidden in a mask, and in the adjoining basement. Absurd!

Therefore, I predict that clandestine eateries and bars will spring up throughout the United States. An unofficial New Prohibition Era has been sprung by the Democrats. Fedcops will be busting down doors and breaking up the parties. A new organized crime may develop to serve the people what the people want. The historical circle in America repeats. Only the zealots change.
