Cat Pregnancy: An opinion
Should cats be left unspayed until they experience pregnancy?
Sadly, there are still people who believe that their pets should experience motherhood before they are spayed. This may be okay, but do know that pregnancy is stressful and exhausting for cats which leads them to become uneasy -or worse, unhealthy.
While it's a nice feeling to see cute new kittens, imagine all those cats and/or kittens you could've saved from the streets. Imagine how you could have contributed to end cat homelessness because you still have room for them in your home.
That is where the spaying enters the picture. This procedure not only helps relieve stress for the cat but also allows humans to focus on giving the best care and attention they could to their pets.
Leave the breeding to registered breeders because they have standards that ensure that the litter will be given the best care possible.
Home breeding on the other hand, only adds to the problem of cat homelessness. That's why we should take a step forward and end homelessness NOW.
