Xilitla - Surrealismo en el corazón de la Huasteca Potosina
¡Hola Steemit!
Hoy les traigo una reseña de Xilitla. Uno de los lugares en México que deben visitar.
Xilitla es un municipio ubicado en la huasteca potosina, es decir, en el estado de San Luis Potosí. Actualmente se encuentra catalogado como uno de los pueblos mágicos del país. Es una zona montañosa famosa por la producción de café y piloncillo, y además por albergar el conjunto artístico arquitectónico "Las Pozas" u oficialmente el Jardín Escultórico de Edward James, creado por el arquitécto surrealista del mismo nombre.
El jardín se encuentra a unos 20 minutos caminando del centro del municipio y se trata de una serie de construcciones que adornan un lugar ya bastante atractivo por su belleza natural.
Donde además podrán disfrutar de un chapuzón en las frescas aguas de su pequeña cascada.
Su construcción data de entre los años 1960 y 1970. Consta de 40 hectáreas con 36 estructuras
Es un destino que planeo visitar en los próximos meses así que espero traerles mejores fotos y una reseña mas completa
