ENTRE TODOS ES MÁS RICO… Una comida en plena montaña. MADE AMONG ALL IS MORE DELICIOUS ... A meal in the mountains.

Hola, mis apreciados steemianos… Uno de los ricos recuerdos que conservo de la larga caminata de dos días para bajar desde la Colonia Tovar (una población de descendientes de alemanes que se encuentra a una altura promedio de 1.800 metros sobre el nivel del mar) hasta la hermosísima playa del pueblito pesquero de Tuja, ambos en el estado de Aragua, al norte de Venezuela, fue esta improvisada comilona que compartimos gracias a la hospitalidad de la maestra del pequeño caserío de Costa Paraulata. No solo su esposo nos dió la colita, aliviándonos durante un buen trecho al ayudarnos a transportar en su camión los pesados bolsos, sino que nos ofreció pasar la noche en el patio trasero de su casa donde pudimos instalar nuestras carpas, bañarnos y cocinar a la leña una inolvidable passata di pomodori hecha, literalmente, a mano, la cual servimos sobre luengos spaghettis.

Como si no fuera suficiente tanto lujo, para nuestra sorpresa, tempranito en la mañana, alguien sacó de su bolso una gigantesca torta de chocolate que nadie se explica cómo no se partió, a pesar del ajetreo del viaje. Y, claro, no pudo faltar el cafecito recién colado.
