En los jardines de la Venaria Reale vive un cisne blanco.

Los jardines de la Venaria Reale están muy cerca de Turin. Fueron destruidos por las tropas de Napoleón y también por el paso del tiempo. Ahora se están rehabilitando y están abiertos al público.

Por los dibujos y diseños que han quedado de la época, se sabe que fueron unos magníficos jardines de estilo italiano. Eran muy amplios y contaba con fuentes, estanques, lagos, templetes, etc distribuidos en tres terrazas. Se construyeron espectaculares intentando reproducir los jardines de Versalles de los reyes franceses en París.

Antes de que el palacio fuera utilizado por las tropas napoleónicas para hacer un campamento militar, había una magnífica fuente destinada a Hércules que ahora está destruida, aunque se está reconstruyendo según los planos de la época.

En el centro de los jardines hay un estanque alargado, el Canal Central de Hercules y se extiende desde la Fuente de Hercules hacía los restos del templo destinado a la diosa Diana (diosa de la caza).

En este canal vive un solitario cisne blanco que lo recorre. Se deja alimentar por los turistas. También, alarga su cuello y arranca el césped, no se si para alimentarse o por enfado.

Lo intenté separar del césped para hacerle unas fotos y él no quería. Incluso se enfadaba y emitía un curioso bufido para ahuyentarme agresivo. Me pareció antipático, gruñón y un poco orgulloso. Reconozco que me dió un poco de reparo y no le volví a insistir. Sin embargo, me dio pena su soledad.

Tras haber pastado, se paseó ante mi, en un lánguido atardecer. Fui consciente de que lo hizo a propósito. Permaneció tranquilo en un contraluz. Unas suaves ondulaciones del agua hacían vibrar su sombra y la de los árboles cercanos. Cuando se cansó de mi, se alejó muy lento y ufano por el canal.

El palacio se construyó y en la mitad del siglo XVII porque el Duque Carlos Manuel II de Saboya quiso establecer aquí su principal residencia como duque del Piamonte italiano. Amante de la caza, desde aquí organizaba batidas por los alrededores de Turin para la caza de venados.

Si viajas Turín, una de las escapadas imprescindibles es la visita a la Venaria Reale, verdaderamente vale la pena pero ten en cuenta que debes destinarle, al menos, una mañana. Existen autobuses ordinarios de transporte publico que te llevan y recogen con facilidad. No te lo pierdas.

The lonely swan

In the gardens of the Venaria Reale lives a white swan.

They were very wide and had fountains, ponds, lakes, shrines, etc. distributed in three terraces. Before the palace was used by the Napoleonic troops to make a military camp, there was a magnificent fountain for Hercules that is now destroyed, although it is being rebuilt according to the plans of the time.

In the center of the gardens there is an elongated pond, the Central Canal of Hercules and extends from the Hercules Fountain to the remains of the temple destined for the goddess Diana (goddess of the hunt).

In this channel lives a lone white swan that runs through it. It is allowed to feed by tourists. Also, it lengthens its neck and it starts the grass, I do not know if to feed itself or by annoyance.

I tried to separate it from the lawn to make some pictures and he did not want to. He even got angry and gave a curious snort to drive me away aggressive. He seemed unfriendly, grumpy and a little proud. I admit that he gave me a bit of reparation and I did not insist again. However, I felt sorry for his loneliness.

After having grazed, he walked before me, in a languid evening. I was aware that he did it on purpose. He remained calm in a backlight. Soft waves of water vibrated his shadow and that of nearby trees. When he got tired of me, he walked very slowly and proudly down the canal.

The palace was built and in the middle of the 17th century because Duke Carlos Manuel II of Savoy wanted to establish here his main residence as Duke of Italian Piedmont. Lover of the hunting, from here he organized batidas around Turin for the hunting of deer.

If you are traveling in Turin, one of the essential getaways is a visit to the Venaria Reale, it is truly worthwhile but keep in mind that you must spend at least one morning. There are ordinary public transport buses that take you and pick you up easily. Do not miss it.

Proyecto “Momentos”

El proyecto “Momentos” es una idea propia para desarrollar en Steemit. Pretendo describir, con unas cuantas fotos y unas pocas frases, lo que sucede en un determinado momento puntual.

Del mismo modo que la fotografía congela el instante, mi reto es describir un fragmento de tiempo con una serie limitada de fotografías y unas pocas frases.

Habitualmente, los momentos se acompañan de sentimientos o emociones, e intentaré plasmarlos también en este reto.

Como si fuera un haiku japonés, me he propuesto describir, de una manera sencilla, el asombro y la emoción que me produce la contemplación de la naturaleza.

Esa es la idea y espero que os guste.

"Moments" Project

The project "Moments" is an idea that I had to develop in Steemit. I intend to describe, with a few photos and a few sentences, what happens at a specific moment.

In the same way that photography freezes the moment, my challenge is to describe a fragment of time with a limited series of photographs and a few sentences.

Habitually, the moments are accompanied by feelings or emotions, and I will try to capture them in this challenge as well.

As if it were a Japanese haiku, I have proposed to describe, in a simple way, the amazement and emotion that the contemplation of nature gives me.

That's the idea and I hope you like it.

Hice las fotografías con mi iPhone X. Para la edición utilicé la aplicación Snapseed y para la firma digital en la App Watermark. Los dibujos los hice en el iPad con el programa Sketches.
