There were actually chirimoyas in my healthfood store today! I didn't know what to do with them, so I didn't buy any (they are also quite expensive); but now I have this recipe at hand, I might be tempted to splash out on all three they had in stock (maybe there was room for 5 in the section they had reserved for them, but not for many more, since nobody here would know what to do with them - except maybe for an embassador from your parts of the world, who probably lives near the store, located in the most popular area for embassies).
