I don't mind people seeing what I have in my wallet, although that is perhaps because there's not a lot in there at the moment haha! What I would say though, is that I think having the wallets visible makes it somewhat more difficult for newcomers to be noticed.

For example, I have seen quite a lot of high SP accounts that don't actually post any content, but they have loads of followers. My assumption is that people follow these accounts in the hope that they can one day earn from an upvote or curation reward. When these same people see my mere 40 SP, it's not so appealing, and perhaps my content then becomes irrelevant to them.

I could be wrong. This is just the feeling I get.
