Hoy, los pagos no monetarios representan aproximadamente 522 mil millones de transacciones por año en todo el mundo , y ese número parece estar aumentando en forma cuadrática, lo que significa que será mucho más grande cuando lleguemos a Bitcoin Valhalla. No se puede predecir cuándo llegaremos exactamente, así que imaginemos que Bitcoin ha tomado el control como la moneda dominante en la actualidad .
Ahora, por supuesto, Bitcoin tiene que asegurarse de que su sistema pueda acomodar la enorme cantidad de transacciones aquí sin embotellamiento.
