Un dia como hoy, pero de 1651. Nace en la hacienda de San Miguel Nepantla, hoy Estadode México, Juana de Asbaje, mejor conocida como Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.

Cada 12 de noviembre se celebra en México el Día Nacional del Libro, instituido por decreto presidencial en 1979, en el marco del nacimiento de la poeta mexicana Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz .
