10 tips for spanish beginners.

Spanish might be a difficult language to understand, so here i present some tips you can follow to keep improving:

SPOKEN SPANISH:

1. Identify vowels sounds (A-E-I-O-U). You can look for videos of their pronunciation in spanish.
2. Choose a specific accent you want to start with. Remember there are plenty spanish accents such as in english.
3. Imitate every sentence you want to memorize (Have fun while you do it) use corporal expressions, associate the sentences with actions, so you could give it certain rhythm, that reminds you to a context.

SPOKEN- WRITTEN:

1. Listen songs in english-spanish subtitles. Here it's not that important the rhyme in spanish, take into account some songs are translated into a context, in this case we are not going to pay attention to the context (yet) but the translation of every word. You may learn few new words if you like the song.
2. Go slow, spanish it's not so easy, it has so many tenses . Take your time, to understand the things that you are learning.
3. Download apps in your technological devices so you can practice on any free time you have. Such as chat rooms, or private lessons, where you can practice written and spoken spanish.

WRITTEN:

1. If you are a reader, look for all your favorites quotes, and try to translate them. Word by word. If you need extra help, you can find it in spanish chatrooms.
2. Once, you gained some vocabulary, express little ideas in spanish (Also, if you write little sentences you remember from a movie, song, conversation, etc...) Look how the words match.
3. Make calligraphy of the structures you find difficult to learn.
4. If it's easier for you, carry a dictionary and take notes of everything unknown.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, Keep a constantly research of native expressions, common mistakes, etc...

ESPAÑOL HABLADO:

1. Identifica los sonidos de las vocales (A-E-I-O-U). Puedes buscar videos de su pronunciación en español.
2. Escoge un acento específico con el que quieras empezar. Recuerda que hay muchos acentos en castellano como en
   el ingles.
3. Imita cada oración que quieras memorizar con acciones (Diviértete mientras lo haces) Usa expresión corporal, asocia las oraciones con acciones, así le puedes dar cierto ritmo que te recuerde a un contexto.

HABLADO - ESCRITO:

1. Escucha canciones en ingles-español subtituladas. Aquí no es importante del ritmo en castellano, toma en cuenta que algunas canciones son traducidas en un contexto, en este caso no vamos a prestar atención al contexto (aun) pero a la traducción de cada palabra. You puedes aprender algunas nuevas palabras si te gusta la canción.
2. Ve lento, el español no es facil, tiene muchos tiempos verbales. Tomate tu tiempo, para entender las cosas que estás aprendiendo.
3. Descarga aplicaciones en tus dispositivos tecnologicos asi puedes practicar en cualquier tiempo libre que tengas. Así como en Chat rooms, lecciones privadas, donde tu puedes practicar español escrito y hablado.

ESCRITO:

1. Si eres un lector, busca todas tus citas favoritas, e intenta traducirlas. Palabra por palabra. Si necesitas ayuda extra, puedes encontrarla en chat rooms de español-
2. Una vez, hayas ganado algo de vocabulario, expresa pequeñas ideas en español (Tambien, si tu escribes pequeñas oraciones que recuerdes de películas, canciones, conversaciones, entre otros...) Mira como encajan las palabras.
3. Realiza caligrafía de las estructuras que encuentras difíciles de aprender.
4. Si es más sencillo para ti, carga un diccionario y toma notas de todo lo desconocido.

ÚLTIMO PERO NO MENOS IMPORTANTE: Mantente en una búsqueda constante de expresiones coloquiales del idioma, errores comunes, entre otros... ;)
