¿Que son las aplicaciones descentralizadas, DAPPS?
Los usuarios de Internet no tienen control exclusivo sobre los datos que comparten en los sitios web de hoy. Ethereum es único en el intento de manejar el Blockchain como una forma de corregir lo que sus diseñadores creen que es una parte problemática del diseño de Internet.
Es como una "appstore descentralizada" donde cualquiera puede publicar sus aplicaciones (dapps), que a diferencia de las aplicaciones de hoy (por ejemplo, Gmail o Uber) no requieren un intermediario para funcionar o para administrar la información de un usuario.
Dapps conectan a usuarios y proveedores directamente.
Un ejemplo es usar este concepto para un Twitter descentralizado que sea resistente a la censura. Una vez que publique un mensaje a la cadena de bloqueo, no puede borrarse, ni siquiera por la empresa que creó el sistema de microblogging.
No hay una definición de DAPP, debido a que es un concepto reciente.
Un par de características principales son que son de código abierto y no tienen un punto central de falla.
TIPOS DE DAPPS.
El Ethereum white paper divide las dapps en tres tipos: aplicaciones que administran dinero, aplicaciones en las que el dinero está involucrado (pero también requiere otra pieza) y aplicaciones en la categoría "otros", que incluye sistemas de votación y gobernanza.

Etherum unique in trying to manage Blockchain as a way to improve what its designer believes to be a troublesome part of Internet design, I think this is a good thing for the future.
